7. Is your idea bootstrap-viable?

Episode 7 is the shortest yet, but we cover a lot of topics. First some corrections from Episode 6 regarding Voice Candy, Voices, and Taptivate. Then we share what we heard from developers about publishers and promoters. The iPhone Small Business Mailing List is a great resource; we discuss the idea of a trade organization that came up on the list.
How do you decide if an idea is business viable, and if so, is it bootstrap viable?
Finally, Rick shares his experiences with Droid.

Hey Shek, I just wanted to let you know that Droid users just have to add a credit card to their account at checkout.google.com. Then when you purchase an app there is a dropdown list of all the payment options you’ve tied to your google account.

Thanks, Khye. I’ll guess we’ll get in the habit of starting every episode with corrections from the prior show

You forgot to mention that when you type
in google talk the droid turns it into a smiling robot. You’ll have to add that to next week’s corrections as well.
